This is when a game publisher needs to find out how much they need to make in a certain amount of time to gain profit.

The Break-even analysis in games is when a game will try and make a profit by making more money when a games released for example every year fifa will have to renew their licensing for the teams and players and this will cost them a lot of money and they know how much it will cost every year so with every game they release they will try and make more money than what the game cost to make, so each year they might try and lower the cost of making it but still keep the game of a high standard. Its also very risky as only the top 5% of games make a profit. The cost for top end games costs around 30 million so they will need to try and make 30 million+ when the game releases. Games also release DLC to make some profit as well.
Funding Groups
Funding Groups are people who help fund your game and give you some money. You can get them by applying for funds.
Milestones
Milestones are present during the development stage so no one has problems with the release date and the times they have to complete things by so the game is not incomplete and up to a good standard. Milestone schedules will be presented at the start of the production so every knows the dates and times of when everything has to be done by so they know.
Licensors
This is when game companies use licencing for the game which involves you using another companies brand in association of a product.
